European Service at Home is looking for a Human Resource Assistant to join our team in our Palatine office.

The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for various functions of the Human Resource department, including data entry and database management. 

To be a competent HR Assistant, you should be patient and compassionate, have excellent listening skills, and be able to multitask effectively. The ideal person for this position has proven expertise in Human Resources, but it is not a requirement; we are accepting all applicants.

Compensation: Annual $38,000 - 40,000 based on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clerical Functions – taking detailed notes and answering phone calls, texting, emailing, doing background checks, collecting documents and information, data entry, creating reports; maintains computer database, updates employee information, investigates and corrects information, keeps files current, and general clerical assistant.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Computer literacy - Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and talent management software
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or Associates is preferred
  • Human resources experience preferred
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail​​​​​ and ability to multitask
  • Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
